An Old Town, a Colder Zone
Spray Foam Insulation in Bernalillo works in one of the oldest European-founded towns in New Mexico. Wikipedia dates the settlement to 1695 under Governor Diego de Vargas, along the corridor of El Camino Real, and Bernalillo has been the Sandoval County seat since the county was created in 1903. The 2020 census counted 8,977 residents and 3,801 housing units.
Old adobe and newer frame
The historic core along Camino del Pueblo holds older adobe buildings, while newer subdivisions and frame-and-stucco homes fill in around it. Adobe walls are solid and store heat, so insulation on those houses goes into the roof or ceiling. Newer frame homes get the full range: attic sealing and blown-in, roofline foam, and wall insulation when there is a remodel.
Zone 5B
OpenEI lists Sandoval County in Climate Zone 5B, colder than Bernalillo County to the south. The town sits around 5,050 feet. For uninsulated floors over a crawl space or garage, DOE recommends R-30 in zone 5, versus R-19 in zone 4; attic targets are the same R-60 for an empty attic.
Flat-roofed houses
Older houses with flat roofs and parapets often have very little room between ceiling and roof deck. When that roof needs replacing, spray foam roofing adds insulation on top and gives the house a new seamless surface in one project.
Commercial and shop buildings
Bernalillo's main street has long served as a trade and travel route, and the town has its share of small commercial buildings, shops and storage. Closed-cell foam on steel or under a roof deck works for those as well as for homes.

Yes. Sandoval County is listed in Zone 5B and Bernalillo County in 4B. Attic targets are similar, but floor and wall recommendations are higher in zone 5.
Can you insulate an old adobe house in Bernalillo?
We focus on the roof and ceiling, since adobe walls are solid. That is usually where the biggest improvement is anyway.
Do you do small commercial buildings?
Yes. Shops, storage and small commercial spaces can get foam on walls, roof decks or on top of flat roofs.
How soon can you come out?
